Description

The Dracaena Draco Multi Stem is a slow-growing succulent native to the Canary Islands. It is characterized by its multiple, woody stems that branch out, creating a distinctive shape. The leaves are long, narrow, and leathery, adding to its exotic appearance. This plant is known for its resilience and can thrive in various conditions, making it a great choice for both novice and experienced plant owners.

Plant Care:

  • Light: The Dragon Tree thrives in bright, indirect light. It can tolerate some direct sunlight, but prolonged exposure may scorch the leaves.
  • Water: Water your Dracaena Draco sparingly. Allow the soil to dry out completely between waterings. Overwatering can lead to root rot.
  • Temperature: The ideal temperature range for this plant is between 65°F and 80°F (18°C and 27°C). Avoid exposing it to cold drafts or sudden temperature changes.
  • Humidity: The Dragon Tree is relatively tolerant of low humidity levels, but it will appreciate occasional misting, especially during dry winter months.
  • Soil: Use a well-draining cactus or succulent potting mix to ensure proper drainage.
  • Fertilizer: Fertilize your Dracaena Draco once a month during the growing season (spring and summer) with a balanced liquid fertilizer diluted to half strength.
  • Pruning: Prune the plant to remove any dead or damaged leaves or stems. You can also prune to shape the plant as desired.
  • Repotting: Repot your Dragon Tree every 2-3 years or when the roots become pot-bound.
