With a very low maintenance requirement, these intricate and unique looking succulent plants can be a brilliant addition.
Lithops are a very easy to care for, in that they require very little maintenance, and fare well on their own. These succulent plants store their own water conservation, and have a very different watering cycle from other succulents. Keeping the watering light, and ensuring that the soil is dry before watering.
Plant Care
- Lithops thrive in bright sunlight conditions. At least 1-3 hours of preferably morning sunlight a day is ideal for plant to grow well and natural indirect bright light for the rest of the day.
- Be very careful, when growing living stones, not to over water.
- The soil should be well drained and fertile, rich in organic content for growing plant.
- 15 – 30°C
- Add a diluted cactus fertilizer when you commence watering again.
